I bought these after running in the 765, which I thought was awesome. These shoes aren’t horrible, but they are now more like a motion controll shoe, which is too supportive for me.

I love these shoes! they are super light and have plenty of support. My knee pain and plantar Fasciitis began to clear up as soon as I started wearing these shoes. Also, they are roomy. I don’t like my toes crunched together, but you do need one whole size bigger, like they reccomend.

They advertise the new balance 766 as a blend between stability and cushioning. I ran with it for the first time today, and for me at least that seems to be true. The cushioning was really good. I never felt the pavement at all. sore when I finish my runs.)

Only time will tell, but the 766 seems to be a keeper for me, and will be one of my main training shoes. For me it is a great balance of light weight, injury protection, and cushioning.

These are probably the best fitting, most comfortable running shoes that I have purchased to date. They were great right out of the box.
